Built by Werner von Siemens on behalf of Cartenn, it ran between Lichterfelde Ost station and the main cadet school.
Besides Berlin's oldest residential district, the most famous attraction is the Botanical Garden, one of the largest and most important botanical gardens in the world. It is home to around 20,000 plant species.
A stroll through the lively Schlossstraße with its numerous shops, two shopping centers, cafés and restaurants offers everything your heart desires.
The lively Ludwig-Beck-Platz is just a 4-minute walk away and feels like an extended living room – with a weekly market, wine festivals, and a variety of art and cultural events.
